I shouted out I loved you but you’re not here, you're not here |
Living in a school of teenagers wasn't an peaceful way to live if people wanted peace then they were defiantly at the wrong location. Add living with a school of mutants doubled the troubles that came with living at such a location. Add in the factor that the school was also a secret base for the x-men whom were constantly at war with the Brotherhood among other foes and no one could say the place was boring. It was a lot better than his family home had been. He had lived with his grandparents mother dying at birth, father never being known, yet once they found out his mutant gene he was gone. Discarded like a piece of trash. It had hurt him more than he admitted to anyone even himself. Funny enough his fellow students often said they thought it would have been his sexuality they had a problem with. Having been seven at the time he told them frankly he wasn't interested in any gender. Alex let out a big sigh as he allowed himself to relax finally finishing the target of push ups he had set himself. With one final heave he dropped himself to the ground feeling the carpeted floor underneath his exposed chest. Shaking his head the male stayed motionless for a few seconds just listening to his breathing, feeling his lungs inhale and exhale, his chest expand and collapse. If he could have than the student would of remained in the same spot instead of having to return back to his lessons though thankfully upon checking the time he realised that he had at least a couple of hours until he would yet again attend the same class to learn more about his abilities. Abilities that he was slowly learning to control. Being able to generate forcefields wasn't exactly the most offensive power but it allowed him to protect people he cared about. He could however use his forcefields as projectiles creating various constructs to harm his foes with but it wasn't exactly the same as firing an energy beam. Rising to his full height he stretched his limbs reaching for his top that he had hung on the side. Throwing it over his head Rex pushed the various gym equipment back into its rightful place knowing of at least eight students whom would have a heart attack if even one dung bell was left. Laughing to himself he marched towards the showers cleaning himself up making sure that he smelt at least somewhat like a human being before he allowed himself to leave the steam filed room. Fully clothed the male re-entered the gym in a casual pair of ripped blue jeans, a red t shirt and a denim jacket, finishing the look with his trademark converses. He wasn't able to get enough of them having them in a variety of colours though at that moment they were red. It was strange how quiet the room was how it was clear of all sounds when normally the room was full of mechanical bangs or screeches. Coughing he sat down just at the entrance to the gym grabbing a chocolate bar from his bag to munch on. He had worked the food off already so he was allowed to treat himself. At least that was what he was telling his constant worrying brain. If he had been a telepath he would of been dangerous. His mind was never empty there was always something circling his brain. Than again being at the age he was he was discovering a lot about himself, who he was, whom he wanted to be. Gay, seventeen and a mutant. "Now what to do today Rex?" he muttered to himself leaning backwards. words: (enough) tagged: (open) notes: (first post with Rex) |
