JUST BLAKE BROTHERHOOD — POLICE OFFICER — GRAVITY MANIPULATION — THIRTY — APP FRIENDS – just initially tends to get on people's good sides because he's a real sweet talker if left off leash! he really can't resist cosying up to people in whatever way he can. for this reason acquaintances could be likely and especially if they're also on the police force as colleagues. they might see his temperament as being a total kissass but beyond that there's the fact that just is a gigantic liar! small lies, or indications of big ones, will send off warning sirens to those who tend to err on the side of suspicious when it comes to interaction. but if someone knows he's a liar and they're okay with it, uh, power to 'em, friends here? as for friends in the local community, that's not unlikely – he's a new arrival to eriwall but heyyy maybe neighbours, just people you generally meet and see day by day? there's the fact just'll know brotherhood of mutants as colleagues as well – brothers in arms, etc. he can definitely wax poetic about the cause but it'll be whether someone can enjoy his non-serious temperament, and his super shadiness, that i think will make or break a cordial relationship there. ENEMIES – just's insincerity can be as obvious as fuck once you figure out he doesn't really mean much of anything he says, it'll probably make some people wanna distance themselves as far as they can as possible. there'd need to be certain situations for him to be caught red-handed for this to happen, though, so it depends – to be honest, colleagues at work just might find him SLEAZY anyway because he's a little too laissez-faire and easy-going for their liking. on a more serious front, there's the factor that just is a brotherhood of mutants member which means he might have enemies and rivalries in and outside the organisation. there's the obvious conflict with x-men just's membership brohood will but he's pretty good at keeping his identity secret so i think it'd just be in fights otherwise? then again, just's got a record that goes back beyond his joining the brotherhood in all sorts of dodgy stuff – MAYBE SOME KIND OF LIKE, X-MEN VS VILLAIN RIVALRY GOING WAY BACK? other brotherhood members might not trust him or like his attitude even if just can make it seem like he totally supports the movement. i'd love more enemies to build-up because i would love just to make some fairly bold moves making sure there's conflict amongst the mutants and non-mutants. also, just is super manipulative right?? please how will a character take that ; ) he likes to control ppl LOVERS – just typically wears a wedding ring because yeah, he's technically married – at least one of the identities he's used in the past was and he kinda likes keeping the ring, it's very nice. it certainly doesn't stop him from heavily flirting if he hasn't taken the opportunity to make totally farfetched stories about whatever partner he may have to explain the ring. otherwise, he plays super coy and flattery 8( like, coming on really hard if he feels like it then suddenly backing out because sheesh, buddy, he's married. but still, one-night stands and flings can be very likely warning, tho, i feel like anything that ends up progressing beyond playful flirting and a one night stand could have the potential to be pretty dangerous for anyone for obvious reasons. just ain't a nice dude and a relationship won't change that – he actively likes conflict, he likes to lie and he's hella manipulative. sure, he can make grand romantic gestures – and would thrive in making them rly — but i don't think any would be healthy rly if someone wasn't like, able to catch on to the fact he's a terrible person? LMAO anyway go for it OTHERS – basically, before just was in the brotherhood of mutants he had his fingers in all sorts of pies he calls it networking b/c he knew a lot of mutants who erred on the side of less moral even if he works as a police officer in eriwall here. PAST CONNECTIONS? ; ) additionally, i think just would be very interested int talking to a few students from the academy and convincing them their school is absolutely terrible. A FEW TAKERS THERE? also idk CRIME STUFF… i'm too lazy now

ahh just because just's thirty it would make val feel sort of inferior in a way?? to make up for that he'll tend to find everything just does to be annoying. things such as his annoying blonde hair and his charm. so there could be some sort of rivalry, competition, and hatred there!

oh and another thing is before just joined the brotherhood maybe the two knew each other. like val could be doing crime and just is like NO CRIME!!!! then chases and pursuits ahhhh. and when just finally became a member val's just like but this might not work depending on when just became a brotherhood.

by that i mean aw he'd like vas! but liking for just involves playing with people like food left on a plate 8) but c'mon, just would think vasilis has a real defiant, brooding, dark guilt vibe – that's so Romantic hero, he'd dig it. so, tbqh, can't blame him for thinking just is annoying B) because he can be and it'll be exemplified if vas doesn't like him ; )

+ i think them knowing each other before the brotherhood could super work! just was involved in way more shady stuff before he joined them so arms dealing is entirely a possibility? police work is is cover in eriwall though he's dabbled in other dodgier stuff before, arms dealing could entirely be a thing! but now THINGS HAVE CHANGED OHOHO. they may be in the same cool mutant superiority club but now just is meant to be hunting vas down. WHAT A LOVELY SWITCH-UP HUH?

thing is, given vas is supplying the brotherhood, just is going to be very specifically careful about his investigations into whatever vas is doing. after all, he doesn't want to sabotage the operations that assist the brotherhood. so really, he'll focus on giving vas a slight hand if anything? SUBTLY YOU KNOW ; ) i'm pretty sure that was partially his intent of working with the police in the area, to make sure their operations stay out of the way of the brotherhood enough!! B) but definitely chasing outside job but as soon as they're at hq just will be slapping him on the shoulder and telling him to buy him a drink to pay him back ; )

AND OH THOSE IDEAS… :9 obviously just has that controlling streak and vas has got that protective urge when it comes aveline. because just sees it necessary to consolidate things – members' fidelity to the brotherhood would be one of them and if he found about the two's current ~relationship, he'd see her as a prime way to possibly take advantage of vas? :') the fun he think he would have w/ it too… at any rate, IT COULE BE SO FUN FOR US CUZ ~PLOT POSSIBILITIES! man just likes to have something to use over people and this could be it ; ) WHICH HAS WONDERFUL POWER TO BACKFIRE! LAUGHS

which adds a whole new element to this but uh SUBTRACT ADD DIVIDE WHATCHA LIKE AND WHATCHA DON'T? for now, defs say rivalry and just is going to be 2 friendly but before that some sort of acquaintanceship through DODGY THINGS hehe?
