TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

It wasn't.. well cold. No, most of the kids were in shorts, enjoying the sun, dancing in the heat. And yet, here she was, in a black skirt and stockings, with a thick winter hat and scarf on her body, and a coat over herself. Most people would wonder what the heck was wrong with the girl, and she'd already snapped at a senior that insisted that she divest herself of her winter clothing, because she was only attached to it, right? She had yelled at the poor senior, watching their stunned face. And then some big bully just took her friggin' bag and threw it above one of the trees on the way to the green house. For yelling at his beautiful senior of course.
The girl was pretty pissed about it to be fair, because that senior had accosted her first. The red hair just huffed, as she jumped and jumped to try and get the strap. No luck. Freezing the tree would do nothing either, as she just decided to climb it.. and then fell out. Dusting herself off, she stomped towards the next building.. but stopped seeing that muscle head bragging about bullying her. Oh she was going to freeze him next time she saw him, mark her words! Maybe during a danger room simulation.. yeah strike the fear of the cold into that hot head. That was probably not only excessive but unnecessary too, but whatever. It kept her from crying right now, right? Whatever kept her happy.
The girl was relatively upset, to the point she just sat on the bench. She had the sense that someone was there, but she didn't really look to see. ''You know, some people are just rude. Those kind of people make me want to freeze'em yannow? Like jeez, you'd figure they'd know what kind of power I have with a name like Nitro. Nitrogen freezes things pretty quickly yannow, like flash frozen solid. But do people like that really need to be dickin' around? They just cause more hate.'' she said, huffing to herself. She didn't even check before she had started ranting, her eyes narrowed in annoyance at the events that had just happened to her. ''Like really, how do they expect respect when they act like a bloody idiot? It's really one sided, jeez. I'll only give respect if you deserve or earn it, not act like a little brat about it! Give and take that's the lesson of this world and people don't get that!''
She took another breath, and then realized she had actually seated herself next to someone. ''... oh, I'm sorry. I'm Lilliane, I didn't mean to start ranting like that.'' she said, smiling at the person before her. Her demeanor went from angry to instantly friendly in a matter of seconds, because to Lilliane, being friendly was more important then anything else. After all, she liked being nice more so then being mean, so if she could switch to friendly even when angry, then it was fine right? Although she was curious about this person.. after all they didn't even look relatively normal. Part of her craved to just crawl onto this one's lap and curl up in the fur. It looked.. so warm.
No she had to keep her mind on the task.. namely being nice and welcoming to this new person!

And interruptions were a dime a dozen. However, Lilliane's defensive reflex was anything but nice, as she felt a poke in her shoulder. She ignored the first one, but the second one caused her to turn, growling. She hadn't even heard the male's words and her hand stretched out, inches from his face if he didn't back up. Then with great restraint, she closed her hand and pulled it back, sighing at the male before her. ''Geez, has nobody told you to not try and surprise a mutant? You're lucky I don't panic use my powers, or you'd quite in trouble right now.'' She said, her blue eyes staring at him.
Narrowing them, she closed her book, and then tilted her head. Why did he look.. oh. It was probably the thick snow hat and scarf, and black clothes, and well her body was still feeling cold despite all of that. She never knew how to explain her power, so she shrugged, as if it didn't really matter. ''My name's Lilliane. People call me Nitro. How are you?'' she'd open after a few moments of silence, deciding introducing herself was a good option. Considering how her name would fit with her power, she often found it easier to explain it that way.
Less questions, and less bothering what the heck is your power face. Although the pile of biology and medical books might be a strange sight next to her, considering she had her anatomy one open to blood circulation. She didn't want to start a random convo or something until she had a name, and understood what the heck this guy wanted from her. The First Year let her eyes roam over his body, keeping a mental track of some things, like the way he was standing. With her godfather as a psychologist.. well things like that were habits right?
Arg, she didn't know what to think, she had been focused on reading the books, not people!

After a particular incident, Lilliane was up in the library, looking for medical information. Namely anatomy and her body, just to make sure she would understand the full effectiveness of her power. Call it extra study, but the girl was the kind that wanted to understand all of the things she could, and could not do. She was sure her power would become more flexible as she grew stronger, but right now? She had a decent tone, but she wanted to know more. To improve her knowledge into a much, much sharper weapon then she had now. It would be useful, she was sure.
Except, she could not find the section on biology, because she was hopelessly lost in the great library. It was always fun picking one's way through the goshdarn books, but she didn't like being lost for ages. Eventually, she dug out a few books, medical indexes probably, and one sure fire anatomy book, and came out of her two hour search. There, she had enough to start on, right? She wasn't even sure, and she wasn't even aware if anyone was watching her, if they were, because.. well it was hard to think right now in some regards.
Oh right, biology, anatomy, powers. That's what she was doing, as she shook her head to focus, knowing the slight pain up her legs meant she had spent longer then she should have there. Placing herself into one of the squishy armchairs for immediate relief, the girl pulled the books to her, noting that she had, at sometime, picked up a psychological thriller. Novels, they kept sneaking into her hands when she wasn't looking, the sneaky ones. With a grin, she propped open the anatomy book first intending to get some reading done today, barring any interruptions of course.
But since when did a school full of mutants have no interruptions? Never, and she had learned that within the last year, so she didn't expect much in the way of quiet time.. and she was sure something would happen soon. So sure she almost started to count down.

A hiss of pain, as the girl was sitting on a white bed, both of her knees gashed up and red. The blood was slightly tickling, but she kept smearing it back up her legs, to prevent the white sheets to be stained. The nurse was busy with another case, but the girl's blue glare was staring at.. well at the pair that had brought her here. Friggin' First Years, thinking they were invincible just because they had powers. She had half a mind to freeze the both of them for a minute, before relenting her power. That would teach them right?
But that wasn't nice, and there were quite a few people in the infirmary right now, both injured and bringers. Probably because something went horribly wrong in the excercise today? Lilliane herself was pretty lucky, she was away from the main incident, but she still felt some pain, probably because she had literally thrown herself to the ground, and covered these two boys. Then the environment, although simulated, was very real, as something smashed down on her legs. She got the boys clear though, and they had lifted the thing enough for her to turn, but she couldn't pull out, her foot was stuck.
So she froze and shattered the thing, and then the simulation went down because the incident was bigger then she thought. And this is why you didn't try to make a danger room class of just First and Second years, you had to have Third years and Fourth years leaders too. Jeez, it made her so angry knowing this, but nobody would listen to her. Right now, she was just trying to not move her legs, they were really hurting. And she noticed that her supposed helpers vanished, leaving another sigh to leave her lips.
How the heck was she supposed to do anything if her legs were not moving? Jeez, these kids.

It was one of those days, as Lilliane just sighed. She didn't want to be stuck in the dorms, mothering whomever had decided to prop themselves up on doing a bang up job of caring for themselves, or go to and try to contain her chilling powers. Haha, that pun never got old, but the girl sure got tired of it when her year mates kept repeating the same crap over and over. She had outgrown playing with toys a long time ago, and playtime to her.. well she didn't know really, what a playtime was, and tended to ignore the others.
But today was a day of exploration, as the girl was invited by some newly arrived boy. He was a cutie, sure, like a little child she wanted to squeeze and mother. And she figured that they needed an adult.. well mature eye to watch over them. She was just thirteen, she was no adult, but she was probably more adult then most of the adults. Ha, the repetitive words were shining through. In any case, she ended up going to the recreation room with the kids. they chatting so happily, and content perhaps, that someone their age was with them?
She agreed, just adults got stuffy no matter how.. mature and intelligent one was. She also made sure they didn't get hurt for the most part, and they would listen to her more then the adults. Of course they would, because she was a kid like them, a big kid. Bah, whatever, but her gaze had settled on the DDR machine that was nice and tucked into a corner. She didn't know what it did, but she was content keeping an eye on the younglings, them playing a racing game. She didn't even realize how strange it seemed, such a small girl acting like an adult keeping an eye on kids.
It's not like anyone would point it out either.

LILLIANE & SIRIUS
I just stole your thing because I like matching plot responses /shot
Little sister? In a way I guess, but she'd probably be a big sister mentally. At least in her head. Silly kids, can't do taxes, can't cook, can't.. well you know, do wifey stuff or live stuff. Silly, silly kids. But it would probably be cute, and she would probably end up being tsundere when babied I think, like punching him gently or just shoving him with a pout. friggin' cute mental images here and definitely, she probably knows more about relationships godfather doesn't hide his patient files well enough and curiosity killed the cat then she would admit.
But def would be interesting to see where these two go ;D wanna start or should I?

LILLIANE CARROW & ANNIE DUFF : Danger obsessed second year? Perfect, need to mother this older then her person, because it's not like Lilliane hasn't been taking care of a grown man that would be.. well quite stupid at times depression drinking, it does things so yeah, she'd be used to walking over and dragging off the danger junkie girl to get some sense into her head. Could def be friends, so lets do dis. And maybe Annie can help Lilliane be a little more let her hair out, because she's been pretty much her godfather's accidental wife.
Also sankyuu, I dunno what I'll do if I run out of Major Arcana though. x.x

I Never wanted to be stuck here like
you lie cold in my heart like you I wanted to save you but I failed
FRIENDS
Friends are super, super easy for Lilliane to acquire. In fact, she loves having friends, always floating from social circle to social circle. She'd be one of those social butterflies that have friends everywhere. She's pretty good and her general knowledge base allows her to easily float from place to place. She loves her friends dearly, although some are closer then others. She is pretty supportive and loyal to her friends, always making sure she's doing all that she can to help them. Sometimes she might seen overbearing, but she's okay with that. After all, a lot of the kids are still learning how to deal with the dorm thing, and she feels happy she has a good idea of how to keep herself afloat.
ENEMIES
Lilliane isn't actually used to enemies, but she understands someone eventually will consider her as one. She might dislike some people, but that's where her bond with uncle Issac comes in. She is polite, almost scaringly cold and polite towards people she thinks are threats. The thing is, she is like that to anyone in authority as well, and particularly towards someone trying to abuse their authority on her. She doesn't seem to do much outwardly, as she holds in a lot of her emotions in favour to keep a pretty easy going mask, but she has no problem being acidic and honest to someone that she doesn't like. She at least sometimes tries to pull her punches with her friends. But people she doesn't like? Pft.
LOVES
She is thirteen you sick people gosh, almost fourteen. Love isn't the thing that will be on her mind, although she dreams of finding an intelligent, sharp tongued young man and marrying him. Well, okay she might be into girls, she's never explored, too young. She might have a crush or at least compare any potential crushes to her beloved godfather Issac. Not that she notices this okay. Again, thirteen. At most chaste kisses. She's pretty much not into the whole.. love thing, and just likes her friends more right now.
DISLIKES - burns - anti-mutant or anti-human - solitude - being ordered around - fake people - hospitals
Lilliane is, well obviously, a strong headed girl with a will of her own. She is surprisingly mature and responsible, having to live with her godfather, Issac, most of her life. Considering he was grieving and going through majorly unhealthy times for the most part, she had to learn how to take care of herself and how to cook, clean and keep her mind from snapping. She's a girl that knows how things roll and really dislikes it when people try to order her around, unless she seems them as someone respectful, like a teacher, or an x-men. Even then though, she gets raised hackles.
She isn't a troublemaker, but she likes her pranks and is a pretty friendly girl, despite her sometimes acidic tongue. She picked that up from Issac, so she often just shrugs when she accidentally hurts people with her words. She'll apologize of course, if she's wrong and made a snap judgment like she has a habit of doing, but often times she is actually right, so she refuses to apologize.
Pretty out going and knowledgeable, most people forget that this girl is supposed to be twelve years old. She's not mega smart, but she has a good common sense, and a sense of what to do. But she's pretty emotional, like all children her age, and is pretty much a typical girl except her possibly acidic tongue, strong will and well, her adult common sense.
biography
Lilliane was the second daughter born to Florence Marie Carrow, née Cadds, and Patrick Gabe Carrow. She was born a baby with beautiful blue eyes to her mutant mother and father, and her four year old brother looked at her with wide, loving eyes. She also noted a man with black hair as well, that being uncle Issac, a person that lived with them and her godfather. She was a quiet baby, but when she was two years old, she was showing some possible future year mates (them being only one years old then) something. Babbling, she made it snow in the middle of summer, having taken the stormy looking clouds' water and freezing it, making it tumble down.
She was never aware of this, as she couldn't remember it then, but that was the reason she was taken by her uncle to see a doctor friend, and prodded for experiments for the first time.. and the reason why her mother, her father and her brother died. She didn't understand when she turned five, why her godfather Issac was the only one there, having a distinct feeling of missing people. Each day, he would tell her about her mother and father, and end up sobbing at the end of it, turning into a child like herself and crying under the bed or in the closet. This confused the little girl, but she thought it was a fun game of hide and seek.
Then she turned seven, and realized that this was bad. Issac started leaving her home alone more, throwing himself in his work, all of the nice colors in his clothes going black. She never lacked toys or new clothes, but she often felt lonely, playing with nearby kids instead. She started to cook when she was eight, to try and take another load off her guardian, and began making him dinner, and talking to him by herself. She'd often tell him she would become his wife, jokingly, because he couldn't take care of himself.
At nine, she began doing all of the house laundry, and most of the cleaning, doing in this in between her school work. She figured it would help him relax more when he did come home, and learned how to run baths and what thing she liked best, like Earl Grey tea. She made sure to try and get good grades, if only to earn his smile, which she did, from time to time. She was happy that he finally smiled.
At ten, she was picking up his beer bottles, and cleaning the dishes, along with just about all of the inside household chores. She was even starting to manage a garden, but found time to do little but her chores and study. She would end up waiting at night for him, falling asleep before he got home, and note he was gone by the time she woke up. He'd leave blankets and a pillow with her thought, as if he didn't want her to be uncomfortable. She was trying to reign in her powers now, as they started making more of an appearance.
At eleven, he brought her with him to the lab, and she was poked and prodded for hours. She exclaimed her heavy dislike of that, but went back every week. She had begun to grocery shop with him now, taking care of most of the foods, and even helping get some of the bills paid on time, making sure to sort the mail properly. She was starting to understand that what she was doing was the role of an adult, but still sought to help out her beloved guardian.
At twelve, she attended the academy for the first time. Just before that, she and Issac got into a huge argument, and she left the house, angry. She started a motion to try and separate herself from his guardianship. It hasn't gone much further since then, but it had still been said, it was still something she could not take back. So she continued at the academy, where her mother and father met, where her mother and Issac spent most of the time.
Now at thirteen, almost fourteen, Lilliane found herself with a tough decision. Her uncle hated all mutants. He put himself up against the X-men. She found this out eavesdropping when she visited once. She had always wanted to join the X-men, to save people she could, never knowing what happened to her mother still, despite the huge fight with Issac. What was she to do now, knowing her beloved godfather was someone she would have to fight? This put doubts in her heart.
Could she fight him? She wouldn't have to find out just yet.. right?
POWERS
Absolute Zero. Lilliane's power is surprisingly elemental, having to do with the nature of ice. Her power is fairly simple at her age, and it is the capability if freezing things solid via touch. More or less, Lilliane can use her power to freeze things she is touching into such a brittle, frozen state, that they will shatter at a touch. This works only via touch, and to fully freeze something living solid, she must remain in contact with the living being for 1 post per each foot of height. That means someone of 6'0 would take 6 posts of contact to be frozen. If her contact is broken before the living being is frozen, the freezing will recede from the person, taking again, 1 post per foot. Objects have no time limit, they just require contact. Not even heat can save a person, due to her capability being a total absence of heat, and then it snuffs out heat. However, should she freeze an ojbect in motion, they would continue that motion at the same force. So freezing a bullet will still make it impact at it's rightful speed, but reduce the worry of a stuck bullet, as the ice would shatter on the surface. It is due to this that Lilliane's body is naturally very cold and that she seeks heat to keep her blood moving.
